Fosbel was founded by two of the most respected companies in the metallurgical and glass technology fields - Foseco and Glaverbel.
Fosbel has pioneered ceramic welding technology for repairing damaged refractories without the need for furnace shutdown. Today, Fosbel offers a wide range of advanced refractory hot repair services that optimize production, extend furnace life and minimize maintenance costs. Customers include the glass, steel, coke, nonferrous, chemical, cement, power generation, refining and petrochemical industries.
Cetek, a division of Fosbel, provides thin film, high temperature ceramic coatings for use on both refractories as well as metal components, in the refining, chemical processing, power generation and steel industries. This innovative coating technology increases production, improves energy efficiency and reduces fuel costs.
