Description
The course ceramics, glass and materials technology is an engineer course focused on the materials' production and application technologies, covering all steps from raw material to the finished product.
Basic essential condition for immatriculation to the course ceramics, glass and materials technology is either a standard High-School Degree (Abitur), the degree passed on a technological High School or an evaluated access permission authorised by the responsible authorities or respective law.
Perspectives de l´emploi
The absolver masters the processes, procedures and lines for the ceramics, glass and materials industry. He has thorough knowledge about the evaluation of raw materials and process control up to materials testing, the application and the recycling of the respective products.
He is trained for the various traditional production processes of the ceramics industry, the glass industry and materials as well as for the modern high tech products. He can work either in the construction industry, in the metallurgical or chemical industry, the electrotechnical/electronical industry or machine construction, concerning the development of solutions of experimental and material problems of anorganic-non-metallic materials.
Thorough knowledge in the areas of management, environmental and computer technologies enlarge his field of activities considerably.
