Größte von HORN gelieferte U-Flammenwanne - 185,4 m²
HORN hat mit dem türkischen Glashersteller Baştürk Cam Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş das größte U-Flammenwannen Projekt der Firmengeschichte abgeschlossen. Im Juni 2021 wurde der Glasschmelztechnikspezialist HORN mit dem Bau einer 560 t/d U-Flammenwanne für Bastürk Cam in Malatya, Türkei, beauftragt. Der Auftrag für den Ofen B wurde im Jahr 2021 erteilt, doch aufgrund des tragischen Erdbebens im Jahr 2023 musste das Projekt vorerst verschoben werden.
Mit einer Schmelzfläche von 185,4 m² ist der Ofen für eine Schmelzkapazität von 560 Tonnen pro Tag ausgelegt und umfasst sechs Vorherde für die Produktion von Behälterglas. Die Beheizung der Wanne erfolgt mittels Erdgas- oder Back-up-Dieselölbrennern.
Bei diesem Greenfiel Projekt umfasste der Lieferumfang von HORN das Engineering der Feuerfest- und Stahlkonstruktion, das Beheizungssystem, das Boostingsystem, die Mess- und Regelausrüstung, eine von HORN entwickelten Einlegemaschine HVR®️ 600F (650 t/Tag Einlegekapazität), die NIR-Ofenkamera sowie die Überwachung der Montage, das Tempern und die Inbetriebnahme.
Im Juni 2024 wurde die neue U-Flammenwanne, die Behälterglas in der Farbe Flint produziert, schließlich erfolgreich in Betrieb genommen und am 2. Juni 2024 wurde das erste Glas gefeiert.
