HORN liefert Oxyfuel-Wanne an Orora
Ende Januar 2025 hat der australische Glashersteller in seinem Werk in Gawler, Südaustralien, eine Glasschmelzwanne für hochwertige Weinflaschen in Betrieb genommen.
Glasschmelztechnik-Spezialist HORN führte die Planung, Lieferung und Kaltreparatur der neuen Oxyfuel-Wanne mit einer Tagesleistung von 475 Tonnen am Tag durch, die eine der nachhaltigsten Glasschmelzwannen Australiens für Weinflaschen ist. Die bestehende rekuperative Wanne wurde ersetzt und in eine hochmoderne und umweltfreundliche, sauerstoffgasbeheizte Wanne umgewandelt, die noch nachhaltigere Glasbehälter mit geringerem CO2-Fußabdruck produzieren wird.
HORN und Orora freuen sich, mit dieser neuen CO2-armen Oxyfuel-Wannentechnologie die nächsten wichtigen Schritte in Bezug auf eine nachhaltige Glasproduktion und CO2-Reduzierung unternommen zu haben.
