The annual Pharmapack Paris is one of the most comprehensive European events for Pharmaceutical Packaging, Drug Delivery, Medical Devices and Machinery. Besides a rich conference program, symposiums and workshops, the Pharmapack Awards is a returning highlight: a ceremony that since 1997 has been recognizing breakthrough products that hold a strong potential to shape the future of the industry.
This year Stevanato Group presented the integration of its capabilities through its cartridge-based wearable device, which won the Pharmapack Awards as the Best Innovation in Drug Delivery Device. The product has been developed to respond to the increasing demand for advanced drug delivery systems that can offer convenience and ease of administration for patients who need intuitive, discreet and easy-to-use devices. Stevanato Group’s cartridge-based wearable device ensures also the pharmaceutical companies an innovative approach in the pen market through a more user-friendly system that guarantees both product reliability and patient safety.
“This year is Stevanato Group’s 70th anniversary and I think it is very fitting that we are here at Pharmapack to now talk more about devices and integrated solutions. Thanks to the hard-working dedication of Irio Calasso and his team, together with our team in Italy and in the rest of the world, we have been able to bring this type of innovative technology forward,” commented Steven Kaufman, Vice President of Drug Delivery Systems at Stevanato Group, after receiving the trophy at the Awards ceremony.
