For more than 50 years we have set the standard in container glass technology. Heye has extensive knowledge of the day-to-day issues of glass manufacturing. We specialise in the engineering and construction of complete glass container manufacturing plants and enjoy a worldwide reputation in the transfer of high-performance technologies and manufacture of high-performance machinery.

We meet the needs of the modern glass industry by continuously developing new and associated technology, equipment and production systems, such as the NNPB lightweight production process which has set the standard in light-weight containers. In addition we deliver innovations in the automation of cold end quality control. We also provide know-how and equipment for the conventional manufacture of container glass.

Our expertise has been developed worldwide through the completion of, and ongoing consultancy collaborations with, modern glass plants on five continents. From complete glass plant to technical assistance during production, from high speed equipment in Hot End to secure inspection in Cold End, we are deeply involved in the process we understand.

We install factories to the highest levels of technical quality which operate at peak economy. Our comprehensive services comprise the complete planning and engineering process, the selection & supply of the most suitable equipment for each individual project and supervision of the construction and commissioning phases. We even train personnel in the most important areas of plant operation, so that our clients’ own workforce is equipped to manage key positions in the new factory!

We analyse local raw materials in order to formulate the best and most economic batch for use and provide our partners with moulds manufactured in our affiliated mould shops.

In recent years, we have been intensively involved in developing several Servo Mechanisms and have given particular importance to the Heye Information System, an information technology system especially developed for the hollow glass production process which constantly monitors and evaluates the production process, quality assurance and production output determination.

In short, we provide everything necessary for the supply and installation of glass factories that conform to the highest international levels of technical quality and which provide the most economic operation for a good return on invested capital.
